Wimpole Farm

We had Wimpole Farm to ourselves yesterday - very different to school holidays and during lambing. Large numbers of piglets in the pens and more to be born so very noisy with all the grunts. I always like an excuse for monochrome as with the old farm machinery

Tallin - Estonian Open Air Museum

The Estonian Open Air Museum spans 72 hectares of very attractive forest bordering the sea just outside Tallin city centre. Established in 1957, the museum showcases 68 farmhouses assembled into twelve farmyards from North, South and West Estonia. I visited the 18th-century rural/fishing village, which comes complete with schoolhouse, a fire station, inn, church, etc, together with interesting toilets and inquisitive red squirrels

Hardwick Wood Walk

I am still experimenting with my RX100 seeing how to get good macro shots etc - answer take lots of shots and one may be in focus or, better still, use a tripod!. The fields were very wet so the old caterpillar tractor could be put to good use at the moment.
