We had a day at the Botanic Gardens in Cambridge yesterday in rather poor light. I spent the session before lunch showing a new member the techniques that are available for macro. I was using an Olympus with 60mm macro so explored both straight shots with as small aperture as was possible in the low light (image 1,2 ,12, 13), with focus bracketing (third, fourth images - 30 images processed in Zerene Stacker) and also with the in-camera stacking of 8 images that my model can do (rest of images).

Mobile Phones in Cambridge 1
I spent a short while in Cambridge this morning watching and photographing tourists with their mobiles outside Trinity College in Cambridge photographing the buildings, each other and themselves, and then, occasionally using it as a phone. Shot on Full Spectrum camera which accentuates the autumnal feel to the morning.

West Cambridge Site
A few images taken on my walk through the West Cambridge site yesterday on the Full-spectrum camera. Generally greens are not recorded but here the canopy has cut out enough red wavelengths to permit the green to register quite intensely (well I think that is the reason!).

Full-Spectrum Images of Cambridge City Centre
These images were taken this morning in very bright sunlight on my Full Spectrum camera and resulted in an interesting colour palette (white point restored but not further changes).

Botanic Gardens 2
The weather was very variable on Monday and this was reflected in the 'colours' that the Full Spectrum camera recorded in the open and under the trees. My favourite ones were those taken under foliage such as the first image and those inside a Gunnera plant.
