Novodevichy Convent


The Convent with all its gold leaf and coloured brickwork looked great on a sunny crisp morning.

Absolutely beautiful Ann! There's something about the onion topped domes with the copious amounts of gilding that seem so far removed from what what many people associate with Russia. I'm so pleased that you're getting such fantastic weather - sun and snow but then you probably are longing for blizzard conditions. Just don't send them over here!
